Our graduate student, Shahriar Muhammad Nahid, named Mavis Future Faculty Fellows (MF3) for the 2022-23 academic year https://mechse.illinois.edu/news/48481.
The MF3 Academy was developed in The Grainger College of Engineering to help prepare talented graduate students for their future transition into academia. The program focuses on research, teaching, and mentoring, offering professional development activities and workshops, significant teaching experience, and mentorship of a less experienced student.
Congratulations Shahriar!
Our PI, professor Arend M. van der Zande has been selected as the 2022 Young Investigator Medal recipient by The Society of Engineering Science for his pioneering research in the mechanics and properties of 2D nanomaterials and engineering new classes of 2D material-based devices like nanoelectromechanical systems and molecular electronics
Congratulations!
