Abir’s new paper selected for ACS Editors Choice

Abir’s recently published paper “Realizing Optoelectronic Devices from Crumpled Two-Dimensional Material Heterostructures” was selected to be the ACS Editors Choice. An honor given to highlight the top one paper across the entire family of ACS journals per day.

Professor Arend van der Zande listed to world’s most influential researcher!

Our PI, professor Arend M. van der Zande, has been named to 2019 Highly Cited Researchers list, a global listing of scientists who produced the past decade’s most influential papers, compiled by the Web of Science group, a Clarivate Analytics company.

Group party with escape room!

Since the spring semester was over, van der Zande group got the group party with escape room. Although most of the members had not experienced the escape room, we successfully solve the problems to save the world!

ME 370 final project: Walking robots

 

We taught the mechanical design class this semester, ME370. We created a new class project where students have to build walking robots. At the end of the semester, they had to have a race out on Bardeen quad. Check out the results!
