Our PI, professor Arend M. van der Zande has been selected as the 2022 Young Investigator Medal recipient by The Society of Engineering Science for his pioneering research in the mechanics and properties of 2D nanomaterials and engineering new classes of 2D material-based devices like nanoelectromechanical systems and molecular electronics

Our PI, professor Arend M. van der Zande, has been named to the 2021 Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researchers lists, who demonstrated significant influence in their chosen fields through the publication of multiple highly cited papers during the last decade. Their names are drawn from the publications that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year in the Web of Science citation index.
